Pink for Peace - 4th of July Parade, Our Grande Dames of Pinkness
A whole bunch of us island folk were Pink for Peace in the Fourth of July parade this year. It's been years since I was in the parade, so it was extra special fun as inspiration hit and I cobbled together a costume from dump scores and pink paint and marched and strutted and danced and chanted and made a whole bunch of noise with all the rest of the renegade pink folk.
